I just installed it. Love the ribbon interface. But the install bugs me. It put a shortcut on the desktop and nothing in the start menu. Personally, I don't don't keep any shortcuts on my desktop except "essential" programs, of which this is not. I would've prefered that your install at least asked where I would like the shortcut placed, and since its an evaluation, an uninstall link as well.
Haven't had to time to really dig into much else yet.
I am using the installer provided by Visual Studio 2003 and it does not allow me to easily provide a choice of where to put the shortcut, so I decided to put it on the desktop only. From your remark, I conclude that I should include it in the Start menu too. However, I don't see the need for an uninstall shortcut (and I wouldn't know how to do it with the current installer), as the program is properly registered and available through the Control Panel "Add and Remove Programs" applet.
Is it possible to vertically center a text string within its box? I was attempting to use the app to draw a UI prototype, but I found no quick way to center text in a textbox to represent a button. How would you accomplish that?
