The blog is up and running again; our provider upgraded the installed PHP and this broke the old version of Serendipity I was using. It took me a few days to find the time to fix this. And while I was at it, I spent a few hours chasing small bugs in Creative Docs .NET.
I've finally decided to ship the release build of Creative Docs .NET. Check out the 2.4.4 release. It should be a bit faster than the previous versions... Let me know of what you think. Can you feel the speed improvement?
You are right, the IME probably won't work with Creative Docs .NET. I must admit that this is an area of Windows that I don't know at all and I'd be glad to have some help from a volunteer who knows how to deal with it in .NET.
You can't Copy/Paste a box of text without loosing the text (you get the box only). Duplicate does work.
At some point I pasted a bitmap image from the clipboard; then, a little later, I couldn't do anything with it (e.g., move it, delete, etc.) until closing the file and re-opening. I've had that problem with a few other objects too, but unfortunately it doesn't seem to be repeatable.
And a small request: It would be nice to have textured (i.e., bitmap) fills.
I like the Creative Docs .NET very much, but i see somethings is missing from anothers apps that i'd used like size of objects, selections and groups (width and height).
It would be very nice if it is possible especially for export objects.
Another thing is the ClipView feature, to combine bitmaps and shapes and make framed images, like in stars or another polygon.
This is only suggestions to make the Creative Docs more and more better. Thanks for attention and sorry for my English.
